I'll work out the tweaking as I go along, but I have a new plan.
My plan is to ignore single men. There are a couple of exceptions to this rule, but that's the basic jist. If guys want to contact me, great, but I'm tired of inserting myself where I'm not wanted. I can do frienships with girls just fine (for the most part). I'm tired of almost every single guy I talk to thinking that I'm after him on some level or another. Even if I did like the guy, I WILL NOT make a first move. So even if you're getting thoughts along the lines of "Curses, I think she likes me," fear not, for I will not initiate anything. You're "safe." *rolls eyes*
Sounds like a great plan. If you like me and want to know if I reciprocate, ask. Take a risk. Otherwise, you'll have a hard time finding out.

Don't worry Cindy. I won't stop be not afraid of you.
Remember last time I was at your place? I thought everyone was comfortable then.
But I bet you're talking about dumb SLC guys. That aren't me. ('cuz I'm technically an SLC guy)
Toastie, my friend, you happen to be one of the exceptions. :D I think you're fantastic, and I already know that you're not afraid of me. I have no idea what you'd do if you thought I liked you, but...*shrugs* I'm sick and I don't care at the moment. :)
If I thought a girl liked me?
She 1. wouldn't be able to tell (unless like, I told someone else and they told you or something), and 2. I would still act the same. A girl liking me does little to influence how I will act around her. I should treat her well and friendly-like no matter what.
Mad props to you, my cute little appliance of a friend. That's the way it should be.
The fact of the matter is that EVERY girl is after me. What reason do I have to believe that you are any different? Don't take it personally. The fact that you exist and are female is all the real evidence I need. :)
Ooh, I concur with you on that one! let the chivalry roll back in and the guys make the first move!
so nice to reconnect with you friday night with asmond (I'll let you fit the blanks!) good luck with school!
Watch out for single men...they are not like you and I...
Okay, that tweaked quote from Fitzgerald kind of fell flat, given the audience and the speaker. But you never know when taking a break from the game might introduce you to the sort of non-game-playing people you want to hang out with in the first place.
Most single men aren't worth your time, really - I mean, if they WERE, they wouldn't be single, right*?
(*Yes, there are exceptions. But I don't feel like allowing for them right now.)
'Sides, never settle for a man who doesn't appreciate Broadway. Seriously.
